France and Italy have both declared that they’re immediately going to suspend the use of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine for fears of severe blood clots. Both countries said the vaccine would be stopped as a precaution after reports of blood clots in people who had received the vaccine.
They are the latest EU countries to take this step and join Ireland and Germany on Sunday. The UK Drug Administration said on Sunday that there was no evidence Jab was not safe and thus will remain using the vaccine for the time being.
