Fuel protesters caused disruption on several major roads across the North on Tuesday with many more protests said to be in the pipeline.
Slow-moving convoys of tractors and other vehicles gathered in Belfast and other locations as part of demonstrations against rising energy costs, reports Breaking News.
While the protests resulted in heavy congestion in some areas, they were not as severe as recent demonstrations in the Republic of Ireland, where motorways were halted and fuel depots blocked.
The convoy then continued along the bypass towards Bangor in the direction of the airport, with some motorists using the cycle lane to pass on the inside.
Several people were seen walking along the roadside in attempts to reach the airport.
Later, dozens of tractors, trucks and lorries joined a convoy along the A1, reports Breaking News.
The vehicles, many displaying flashing lights and sounding horns, travelled past Hillsborough towards Belfast before turning at the Sprucefield roundabout and heading south.
In Omagh, around 15 tractors and other vehicles moved through the town centre, reports Breaking News.
Dozens more vehicles also took part in a convoy at the Ballygawley roundabout.
There were also reports of a smaller protest at Nutts Corner, reports Breaking News.
The Liberal has seen various social media messages, including on Whatsapp and Telegram, that shows numbers of protesters plan more go slows at the weekend across the North.
