Gardai have been involved in a high-speed car chase through the town of Dundalk, Co. Louth.
It’s understood that gardai gave chase to a silver coloured saloon car which was travelling at speed on the bypass road heading northwards.
Gardai were close to the car when it slammed into a wall on the Point Road area of the town with the driver’s condition reportedly serious.
