
A woman in her 70s, cycling in Co Clare, died following a collision with a tractor on Saturday afternoon.
The collision occurred at Toonagh, Tulla, Co Clare, on the L3180 at approximately 12:45pm.
Gardaà and emergency services attended the scene, but the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has been taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick, where a postmortem examination will be conducted.
No other injuries were reported.
The road is currently closed for a technical examination by Garda forensic collision investigators.
Gardaà are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Any road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area between 12pm and 1pm are asked to provide it to investigating gardaÃ.
