Gardai have confirmed that two people have been killed and three others seriously injured, including a young child , in a two-car crash in Mallow, Co Cork.
The crash happened at 3.30pm on Racecourse Road near the Dromahane turnoff on the N72 Killarney to Mallow Road.
There’s currently major traffic diversions are in place, with the emergency services remaining at the scene.
It’s understood that the deceased were both the two drivers of the vehicles.
