An investigation is underway following the shooting by gardai of a man in Dublin this afternoon.
Armed gardai were called to the Manorfield area of Clonee shortly after 1pm.
A man, believed to be aged in his 20s, allegedly pulled a knife and threatened one of the gardai with it.
The man was subsequently shot by an armed officer.
Paramedics have rushed to the scene where the man is being worked on at present.
