The British regulator has greenlighted the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine for use in the UK.
The vaccine will begin to be administered from January 4th.
Clinical trials showed that the AZD1222 jab has an ‘up to’ 90% effectiveness rate in preventing Covid-19.
