Gardaí in Co Louth have confirmed that a body has been found during the search for missing woman Ruth Maguire.
It is understood the body of a female was found in a stretch of water between Carlingford and Greenore.
Although a post-mortem examination will take place later today.
Gardaí say the body is believed to be that of Ms Maguire.
They also say they are currently treating the incident as a tragic event.
Ms Maguire from Newcastle, Co Down, was reported missing following a hen party in Carlingford, on Saturday night.
