According to reports this evening armed Gardaí currently attending the scene at Blanchardstown Shopping Centre are on the hunt for an individual with a gun.

It is thought the emergency protocol which seen a number of shoppers evacuated from the building and seen a number of streets near the scene cordoned off, was called after a member of the public alerted Gardaí from within the shopping centre.
Although reports are unconfirmed at this time, it is thought the individual involved is a young male believed to be a teenager.
