It has been reported in the past few minutes that armed Gardai have been called to Blanchardstown shopping centre after they received reports of a major security incident.
According to various sources shoppers at the popular centre have been told to leave the centre by Gardai as a sweep of the building is being carried out.
It is not yet known what prompted the call but it is understood there are no reported casualties or injuries.
