BREAKING: Government to consider NPHET’s Level 5 lockdown recommendation but with tweaks




In what can only be described as an absolute nightmare and shambles altogether, NPHET have pushed the button and gone full lockdown recommendation again.

It’s now understood that Michael Martin is not returning from Brussels until tonight and that no government decision will be made or issued today, Friday.

However it’s understood that the government are how looking at Level 5 t with tweaks that include possibly extending the 5klm from your home traveling distance.

he National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) has recommended an urgent move to Level 5 lockdown for an extended period of time, as the coronavirus outbreak now completely out of control in Ireland.

The team met on Thursday evening, and it is understood that Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan communicated with the Health Minister shortly afterwards.

The recommendation is for an immediate move to Level 5 restrictions nationwide, and to maintain the total lockdown for at least six weeks.
