It’s understood that government Ministers will meet with fuel protest representatives on Friday at 2pm in government buildings.
Timmy Doolan and Martin Hayden will meet with a number of protester representative bodies who’ll speak through all the complexities of the protest.
As it stands, protesters say that if their demands are not met then the protest will still in place and that they’re not going to go home until the price of fuel comes down.
It’s understood that protesters are asking for a price cap on diesel of €1.70 per litre. The vast majority of people in Ireland appear to be behind the protesters and say that their demands are fair and warranted.
