According to reports this evening police in London a number of gunshots have been fired near London Bridge after a knife attack occurred on the bridge at approximately 10:10pm.
Reports say the knifing incident happened after a car mounted the pavement on the bridge which had many pedestrians crossing it at the time.
A number of eyewitnesses say pedestrians were hit by the by the speeding vehicle.
