Harvey Weinstein pleaded for ‘mercy’, ahead of his sentencing today but it fell on deaf ears.
The disgraced movie producer faced up to three decades in jail after being convicted of criminal sexual act in the first degree and rape in the third degree.
He has just been sentenced to 23 years in prison for rape and sexual assault.
Weinstein said that he had fond memories of his accusers and that men facing allegations in the #MeToo movement are accused of “things that none of us understood”.
