Two young women in their 20s have been killed in a single car collision in Co. Donegal.
The women were travelling on the Glenfin Road at approximately 4:30pm, on the outskirts of Ballybofey when their car left the road and crashed near a bend.
The two women were taken to hospital where they were formally pronounced dead, and a third person who was rescued from the wreckage is receiving treatment in LetterKenny general hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Gardai have cordoned off the road for examination.
