John Heard, the actor best known as playing Peter McAllister in the worldwide Christmas “Home Alone” films has been found dead this afternoon.
The 72-yr-old was found dead in his hotel room in California by hotel staff.
It’s understood he underwent back surgery over the past couple of days.
The actor played many roles but is best known for playing Kevin McAllister’s father in a pair of Home Alone films in 1990 and 1992.
