
Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a young man after a man aged in his 30s was stabbed during an attack which involved a number youths this morning.
It is understood the victim was taken to St James Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries by a taxi man who came to his aid.
Gardaí say the man was set upon by the teenagers on Crane Lane at approximately 3:30am who then subsequently robbed his phone.
It is then believed the victim was taken to hospital by a taxi man who helped him following the attack.
They also say the man aged in his late teens is currently being detained at Pearse Street Garda Station, under Section 4 of Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
