Police in Scotland have confirmed that a hospital is under lockdown following two major incidents in the town.
According to Sky News, the hospital was put into lockdown following two incidents one at Crosshouse Hospital and on Portland Street.
Police investigating the incident say both areas have been cordoned off and neither of them are being treated as terror related incidents.
Sky News reports that a hospital staff member has been the victim of a stabbing incident.
It is not yet known the extent of the victim’s injuries.
