Gardai are trying to determine whether a man aged in his 60s and who is recovering in hospital tonight is connected to a woman’s body who was found in a burning car at 4pm on Thursday.
The man was found drowning in a nearby river but was rescued by emergency personnel and is currently being treated in hospital in Cork.

According to RTE News, the investigation comes after the woman aged in her 70s was found near Doneraile at approximately 4pm.
