The caretaker Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has announced that at this stage, the government are not planning on cancelling any planned large gatherings, even though there’s a horrendous risk of coronavirus being widely spread.
It’s understood that the HSE will continue to monitor the situation and they will announce details as to their plans as the days go by.
The announcement would mean that Dublin’s St Patrick’s Day parade will be going ahead with thousands of people from all over the world due to descend into the Irish capital.
