BREAKING: “It’s going to kick off” – Army on the way to the protests to remove vehicles by force




 

Protesters fear it’s going to get very hostile this morning as the army gets drafted in to remove their tractors, trucks, buses, vans and cars from various protest positions around the country.

In truly astonishing developments this morning , Gardaí have requested the assistance of the Defence Forces to remove vehicles blocking critical infrastructure – and that request has been granted.

The despicable move was confirmed in a statement from Jim O’Callaghan, the Minister for Justice, who said that the blocking of important infrastructrure will not be permitted to continue.

Gardai can ask the assistance of the Defence Forces as help to their civil power, and that request has been issued overnight.

In a statement, Minister O’Callaghan said large vehicles blocking infrastructure, such as the Whitegate refinery, will be removed immediately this morning.

Owners of the vehicles are being requested to move their vehicles and if they do not, then the vehicles will be moved for them.
