The first case of coronavirus has just been confirmed at 6:50pm on Thursday after the COVID-19 virus landed on the island of Ireland after been detected in Northern Ireland.
The BBC is reporting that at least one case of the coronavirus has been detected in Northern Ireland today with health experts working to contain the outbreak.
People are advised to cover their mouths when coughing, use a tissue when sneezing, not shake hands, and ring their GP if their suspect they have flu symptoms.
They’re advised NOT to go to a GP clinic and to self-isolate and to ring from their home.
