John Delaney has contacted the OCI and has informed them of his decision to step down as Vice-President.
Delaney was caught up in the whole Pat Hickey fiasco but has vehemently fought for his good name and protested in his complete innocence in any wrong doing where ticket touting is confirmed.
The FAI chief executive will now concentrate his career fully on Irish football for the immediate future.
