The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has been talking at a press briefing this afternoon and made a stern warning to the public that current lockdown restrictions may be extended by at least 2 to 3 weeks if people continue to go out and breach the restrictions.
The spread of covid-19 appears to be somewhat under control in Ireland but the Taoiseach warned that people who continue to breach restrictions are risking ruining all chances of restrictions being lifted on May 5th.
Meanwhile Dublin Bus said it has seen a daily increase in passengers over the past week showing many more people are out and about.
