BREAKING: Louth have done it! The wee county has beaten Meath and won the Leinster title for the first time since 1957

Louth ended a 68-year wait for Leinster glory, defeating Meath 3-10 to 1-15 in a thrilling Senior Football Championship final at Croke Park. Over 50,000 fans witnessed the Wee County’s first Delaney Cup triumph since 1957, avenging their controversial 2010 loss.

Louth, led by Ger Brennan, struck early with a Sam Mulroy penalty goal, followed by Craig Lennon’s stunning strike and a Ryan Burns goal before halftime, leading 3-05 to 0-08. Meath rallied with a James Conlon goal in the second half, but Louth’s defense, anchored by Donal McKenny, held firm. Mulroy’s late frees sealed the historic victory, sparking wild celebrations among Louth supporters.
