Here we go again then – lockdown part 2 is about to start on Wednesday at midnight.
All non-essential shops will close and all household gatherings will be banned.
As of midnight Wednesday, Ireland will be placed under level five restrictions, which are the most severe, for six weeks, lasting until December 1st.
Under the Irish Government’s five-tier living with Covid roadmap, Level 5 are the toughest restrictions and will force all non-essential retail outlets, barbers, hairdressers and salons to close, while gatherings in homes will be banned.
Elite-level sports and construction will be allowed to continue as well as schools remaining open.
