Martin has said that the current restrictions have slowed the spread but that it has not been enough.
He said NPHET has recommended much more restrictions.
He said that the government has given it considerable thought and that the country will move to Level 5 from midnight on Wednesday.
It’s the view of government and NPHET that schools and creches will remain open.
Weddings can have 25 guests with only essential retail. People must stay at home and within 5km of their house. Everyone must work from home where possible.
