Multiple Russian vehicles have reportedly been destroyed during an ambush set up by Ukrainian paratroopers.
The heroic action took place in the east of the country in recent hours. No further details have been released.
Reports say that no fewer than twelve tanks, five armored personnel carriers, and auxiliary vehicles (plus all of their crews) were annihilated by a platoon of paratroopers armed with NLAW and Javelin weapons. There are no reports of Ukrainian losses.
The utter destruction of the advanced column halted the ongoing offensive in its tracks, forcing the remaining Russian troops to flee in panic.
