A Russian official has been jailed for referring to the war in Ukraine as a war.
The official, named as Alexei Gorinov, is a member of the Krasnoselsky district council. He reportedly remarked during a council meeting that ‘waging a war of aggression against Ukraine.’
Someone presumably snitched on him and got him arrested. Mr. Gorinov has reportedly been jailed for seven years for ‘deliberate dissemination of fake information about the Russian army.’
