The National Public Health Emergency Team known as the NPHET will meet this evening to discuss what steps to take in the coming days to best fight the outbreak of the coronavirus.
It’s not yet known whether schools and colleges will close, but some people are commenting that those measures are now needed.
Panic buying has set up with The Liberal receiving numerous photos from our readers showing empty shelves where toilet roll, water, pasta and tinned food were.
The meeting is due to start at 7pm on Tuesday evening.
