BREAKING: NFL star beaten up, battered and robbed in Dublin’s Temple bar ahead of Croke Park game




In what’s meant to be a showcase for Ireland and its tourism sector, one of the actual NFL players who’s meant to be part of the game today in Croke Park, got jumped, beaten up, battered and robbed in Dublin’s Temple bar on Friday evening.

Skylar Thompson, who is currently recovering from an injury and on the reserve team but is still part of the squad, was taking in Dublin’s sights and scenes with friends when he got approached a group of thugs in Dublin’s Temple bar.

The hefty sportsman stood no chance when he jumped from behind, battered, beaten and had some of his possessions stolen.

It’s understood that the athlete received minor injuries, including a swollen jaw. The NFL only stated that an incident happened but wouldn’t go into further details.
