The Department for Health has confirmed that 3 people have died from coronavirus today and 569 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 248,329 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 5,467 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at 44.
