Students, parents and even teachers of St Oliver’s school in Drogheda, Co Louth were informed by text late on Wednesday night that a teacher had tested positive and that 1st to 3rd year students must stay at home pending an investigation.
A text message sent out from St Oliver’s Community College said that Transition Year and 5th/6th year students were to attend this morning, however The Liberal understands that the vast majority of parents are refusing to send their child to school given because they have no idea who the teacher in question is or what students they were in contact with.
