Police in the US State of Florida have sadly confirmed that a 21 year old man has died after falling 200ft from the world’s tallest swing ride.
According to People the young man sadly passed away after falling whilst carrying out a routine maintenance check on the StarFlyer ride at ICON Park in Orlando, Florida, on Monday.
Police investigating the man’s death say he died as a result of cardiac arrest after hitting the rides platform.
Although a number of attempts were made to save his life he was sadly pronounced dead at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Officers say they are unsure what caused the man to fall but say an investigation is currently ongoing and the theme park currently remains closed to the public.
