There is some possible good news emerging from Rome tonight as the Vatican gives its evening update on the condition of Pope Francis.
The Vatican has reported that Pope Francis’s condition has stabilised but that he “remains critical,” noting that the 88-year-old Pontiff, while conscious, experienced a severe respiratory episode necessitating “high-flow oxygen” and blood transfusions on Saturday.
However, things are possibly looking a bit better tonight as Pope Francis’s top representatives in Rome say that he has had no further asthmatic attacks, his breathing is better and that’s stable.
Things are looking a bit better for the Pontiff this evening.
