In Co Fermanagh, a shooting claimed the lives of a boy, a girl, and a woman in her 40s, police confirmed. A man from the same household is in serious condition in hospital. Superintendent Robert McGowan reported that all four victims sustained gunshot wounds.
Locals say that it was a domestic incident, but PSNI are not confirming this.
The PSNI has launched a murder investigation to establish the circumstances. Emergency services responded to a call at approximately 8:20am in the Drummeer Road area of Maguiresbridge, where they found four individuals with gunshot injuries inside a home.
The woman and one child were pronounced dead at the scene. The man was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, and the other child was taken to the South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen.
