There’s currently mayhem happening in the centre of Derry City tonight after what PSNI are describing as a possible ‘car bomb’ exploding near the courthouse on Bishop St.
Local media are reporting that a possible secondary device is being examined and that the ‘car bomb’ may well have been a so-called “super bomb” which didn’t go off fully.
Either way, a major investigation is underway with emergency personnel telling people to stay away from the city centre until further developments.
