Even though the scoreline doesn’t show it, today’s French Open final was one of the best of Rafa Nadal’s now 12 French Open titles.
Rafa beat Austrian Dominic Thiem in four sets, the first and second being absolute crackers.
Perhaps Thiem’s Semifinal against Novak Djokovic took its toll but he did his best against the formidable Spanard.
Nadal has now 18 Grand Slam titles, just two behind the great Roger Federer.
