Emergency services are on what is said to be a hit and run incident in Dundalk, Co. Louth.
Reports coming through for various sources claim a saloon car drove at high speed down the Castletown road of the town and hit a driver as he was getting into his car.
The man getting into his car is said to be in a serious condition and is being taken to Our Lady Of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda.
The driver’s door of the man’s car is said to be on the ground having been unhinged in the impact.
