RTÉ has confirmed that it has reached out to members of the studio audience for Friday night’s highly anticipated Late Late Toy Show due to safety concerns related to Storm Darragh.

The national broadcaster informed the Irish Mirror that station executives discussed the storm with numerous guests traveling from areas affected by Status Orange weather warnings to the Late Late Show studios for the annual TV event, which begins at 9:35 PM on Friday.

A spokesperson for the show told the Irish Mirror, “The safety and well-being of everyone involved in The Toy Show is a key part of our planning each year. The Toy Show team has been in contact with those living in affected areas.”

Additionally, the public has been advised to keep their mobile phones charged, monitor weather forecasts, and avoid driving through flooded roads as Storm Darragh is expected to impact Ireland over the weekend.
