Scientists have identified a new strain of the coronavirus in the UK. The new variant, named B1525 has been detected in over 30 cases across Britain.
Health authorities are now trying to ascertain the efficacy of the current vaccines against this new strain.
The main concern is how will vaccines work against this and more new strains that will inevitably appear over the coming weeks. The hope is that scientists will eventually invent a vaccine that will be strong enough to deal with all strains.
