Breaking: Snow blizzards have now gripped the east coast of Ireland with swirling winds of 110km




With further heavy snow showers expected overnight and severe accumulations of significant levels expected, Met Eireann have forecast another 1 metre of snow to fall before tomorrow evening with further snow showers expected on Saturday.

Snow blizzards have now gripped the east coast of Ireland with swirling winds of 110km running from Co. Wexford right up to Co. Louth.

People need to be advised that snow drifts are likely and stay indoors at all costs if possible.

Eastern and southern coastal counties will be worst affected by the blizzards until at least tea time tomorrow, Friday. Please share all this information with your friends.
