All St Patrick’s Day parades around the country have now been cancelled.
The caretaker Taoiseach Leo Varadkar earlier announced that Dublin’s St Patrick’s Day parade was to be cancelled following the announcement that Cork’s parade was cancelled.
Wicklow, Buncrana and Ennis quickly followed with authorities announcing that they’re all cancelling parades.
The Liberal has learned the Drogheda, Dundalk and Navan have all cancelled their parades with government officials saying that every parade across the country have been cancelled.
The HSE is going to make a statement in the coming hour.
