A teenage girl is in critical condition following a serious road traffic collision in Finglas on Sunday afternoon. The incident, involving a scrambler bike and a pedestrian, occurred on the Ratoath Road around lunchtime.
Emergency services arrived quickly to treat the young girl before transporting her to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Gardai have since closed the Ratoath Road to allow Forensic Collision Investigators to examine the scene.
Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing. Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage from the area to contact Finglas Garda Station immediately.
