A teenager who was infatuated with the Columbine massacre, has been found dead the FBI have confirmed.
The woman Sol Pais, who was the subject of investigation after apparently making a number of threats against schools on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the massacre.
According to reports in the US, Pais was found dead with a single gunshot wound to the head at Mount Evans, South West of Denver.
The FBI say Pais was infatuated with the Columbine massacre, and is believed to have purchased weapons in Colardo after flying in from Miami on Monday.
Following her arrival in state authorities were forced to close schools in Denver and its surrounding areas in the wake of what the FBI called credible threats.
The Columbine massacre is considered one of the worst shooting disasters in American history after two teenagers shot 12 classmates and a teacher before killing themselves on April 20th 1999.
