BREAKING: The Vatican announces Pope Francis is being discharged tomorrow – he’s on the mend and will recover at home




Pope Francis will return home to The Vatican tomorrow, Sunday when he gets discharged from hospital.

It’s understood he will continue to recover at home and possibly may make a public appearance on Sunday.

According to the Vatican, Pope Francis’s health is on the mend and he no longer requires non-invasive mechanical ventilation to assist him breathe at night, reports Breaking News.

According to a Vatican medical bulletin, the 88-year-old pope is also lessening his use on high-flow supplemental oxygen during the day.

Pope Francis celebrated Mass this week, the anniversary of his installation as Pope twelve years ago and a significant feast day for the Catholic Church, reports Breaking News.

Since February 14, Francis has been receiving treatment at Gemelli Hospital in Rome for a complicated lung infection that progressed to pneumonia in both lungs.

His usage of the mechanical breathing mask has been “suspended,” according to the physicians, after he has not needed it for two consecutive nights.

As Francis gradually recovers, the Vatican is likewise cutting back on regular medical reports once more; the next one is not anticipated until Monday, reports Breaking News.
