Status Yellow rain warning remains in place for ten counties

Both the south and a portion of the west of the country are under a Status Yellow rain warning, reports RTE.

Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Galway, and Munster counties are on alert.

Spot flooding might occur as a result of the heavy rain and thundery downpours that Met Éireann has warned of, reports RTE.

The warning will remain in force until tomorrow at 2:00 PM.
