Fine Gael’s Mary Mitchell O’Connor has lost her seat.
The 61-yr-old was a concern for Fine Gael over the last number of weeks that she was going to lose her seat but early tallies in her constituency of Dun Laoghaire that she was in with a chance but it wasn’t to be.
Counting is beginning to close for the night with counts to resume in the morning.
