The diving units of the gardai along with the coast guard managed to retrieve the body of a woman from her car shortly after midnight.
It’s understood that the woman’s car went off the pier shortly before 5pm yesterday.
Gardai have described the incident as a personal tragedy and are not treating it as suspicious.
