Two gardai have been rushed to hospital following the seizure of a large quantity of vapes and vape equipment in Edenderry, County Offaly.
On Wednesday evening Gary seized a quantity of vape equipment and brought them to the station where afterwards two members of the gardai became extremely ill while processing the products.
They were rushed to hospital where they remain in a serious condition and are being monitored by medical personnel
Edenderry garda station remains closed while an investigation gets launched.
